In 1973 Los Angeles, ignoring the eerie warning of a troubled mother suspected of child endangerment, a social worker and her own young kids are soon drawn into a frightening supernatural realm. Although the film is not an installment in The Conjuring Universe, it stars Tony Amendola, who reprises his role from Annabelle as Father Perez and relates the haunting to his experiences with the demonic entity attached to the doll.
